You’re probably wondering which Webflow SEO plugin is best for your site. Well, that’s a tough question to answer because it all depends on how you want the tool implemented and what kind of data analysis you need to be done by the software. For instance, if keyword research is important then Ahrefs or Semrush are two great options as they have robust tools in this area but also other areas such as backlink checking so these may be more appropriate for someone who wants less noise than just one piece of information from their analytics packages like SERP rankings or social metrics – both things Google Keyword Planner excels at!

Webflow is an easy-to-use website design tool that anyone can use, even if they don’t know anything about code. Webflow prides itself on being code-free and able to help anyone build a website hassle-free. Our Webflow design agency knows the ins and outs of Webflow and how to make the design process work for your audience and business needs.
Upon registering your email, Webflow will ask a series of questions about what kind of site you want to build and your goals. After answering these questions, Webflow directs you to their design page, where a handy tutorial pops up in the left-hand corner. The first practice activity demonstrates how to drag and drop an element called a “container” onto the web page design tool. Then the site pops up with an explainer that describes how the container works. Next, the site asks you to drag and drop a column element into the container that you’ve just placed.
After placing the column within the container, the next step involves dragging a Heading into one of the columns. The tutorial mentions for you to note the various text styles that Webflow offers. Then instructions guide you through changing the Heading to your desired text by double-clicking it and typing in what you want to say. Once you’ve decided what to type in, the Webflow tutorial will instruct you to drag and drop a paragraph just below the new heading you’ve created. The paragraph box will be prefilled with some text holder words that you can easily delete and replace with your desired text. Simply double-click the text box and begin typing.
When you drag these elements onto the page, you will see a small ‘Drag Here’ indicator that lights up green once the drag and drop element lands in place. Don’t worry if you drag it to the wrong position; you can easily try again until you get it right. The next step in the tutorial requires you to drag a “button” and drop it below the first column that you’ve finished typing your first paragraph in.
Then you can change the text in the button. Simply double click to begin typing, and when you’re finished, click outside of the area you just typed in to move to the next step. The final step in the first section of the tutorial shows you how to drag and drop an image into the opposite side of the column that you just worked on. This part of the tutorial aims to help you get the hang of making a simple layout for a webpage.
You can go back and alter it at a later point. For now, let’s review a few more tutorial steps you will learn. The next section of the tutorial focuses on applying styles and classes to the web page. The first instruction tells you to click on the Header text you created in the first part of the tutorial. Then the program highlights how to change the text size on the header. This describes just the first part of the tutorial that Webflow offers; we’ll let you explore the rest with their guidance. Let’s talk about some of the reasons why Webflow can be a better choice for your web design needs.
Webflow remains a great option among the numerous web-building sites like WordPress, Wix, and other platforms. There are multiple reasons that Webflow has been growing rapidly with more than two million users. Let’s look at some of the popular reasons that Webflow has become so popular.
When a development agency has to do more work, it takes more time and costs more money. Webflow has a simple and powerful back-end system that can cut the web page developmental labor in half. The reduction in work helps keep your costs where you want them to be.
Webflow doesn’t rely on the plug-in market to keep its features up and running like some other web platforms you might be familiar with. Plug-ins can become outdated quickly, and these obsolete additions to your website can cause significant security concerns. Because Webflow doesn’t rely on these, your site will be safer over the long run.
Once again, plug-ins can cause issues with how quickly the site can run. Between the plug-in additions and an excess of back-end coding, pages can lose responsiveness and functionality. Webflow avoids these issues by using a more barebones-type approach that keeps things running fast and smoothly on demand.
Where some website platforms can be chunky and challenging to edit after publishing, Webflow makes it easy to save time and money by offering fast access to anything that might need updates over the lifespan of your website.
Unlike other platforms that tend to rely on forums or even AI chat, Webflow offers live technical support with an experienced technical team. You won’t have to sift through forum posts to find someone with a similar issue, simply reach out to the technical support and get instant guidance on any problems you have.
Webflow has a variety of options to meet your unique needs. They have a free option, as well as a site-focused choice of plans and account types. Webflow additionally offers its services for enterprise-level businesses that their sales team customize to each client’s specifications. Let’s take a look at the different levels of plans in greater detail.
The free plan from Webflow offers a maximum of two projects with complete design control, the option to publish to webflow.io, and 100s of hours of tutorials to help guide you through each step of building your dream website. This makes a great option for those just starting out in the adventure of web page design or to explore the capability of Webflow. The free plan limit of two projects and two pages per project can be a great way to test how Webflow might work for your goals. In fact, many recommend using the free plan as a trial before committing to a site plan that allows 100 pages per project. See more about the Webflow site plans described below.
The site plans that Webflow offers begin at the price of $12 per month (when paid annually) and cover all the basics for a published web page. These plans offer a range of custom domains, pages, form submissions, CDN and associated bandwidths, API requests per minute allowances, editors, site searches, and so much more. The site plan outlines are:
Each site plan level includes a different number of assets that you can access with a paid subscription. Each plan also offers backups, password protection, SEO controls, SSL and security features, as well as fast loading times.
Webflow splits account plans into individual and team-based plans to address the variety of needs that you or your business might have. Let’s review the individual plans first and then cover the team plans.
Webflow offers three individual account plans. The free version is the Starter plan, the next level is the Lite plan, and finally, the Pro plan. Each level offers escalating benefits. For example, the starter plan does not allow project export or transfers, while Pro includes export and white labeling. The Lite and Pro plans have subscription costs starting at $16 and $35 per month (when paid annually).
The team plans include the Team and Enterprise plans. The team plan is available for $35 a month (billed annually), and the Enterprise plan will be customized by the Webflow sales team to meet your needs. These team-based plans bring client billing, enhanced staging, and special team dashboards together in one place to unite your team together while working on their projects. Account plans from Webflow include a series of assets valuable to teams and individuals alike. These useful tools and assets include:
Overall, Webflow appears to have only one major downfall—unfortunately, you cannot import existing sites or codes into Webflow. You’ll have to start from scratch if you have an existing site or code from a previous website you’ve created rather than simply importing the original content. But this can be a blessing for some who recognize that their site might need updating or reworking rather than copying and pasting from their original platform.
Webflow developed their product for everyone, from first-time web page designers to skilled web development agencies that know how to tailor your site to your audience and your business goals. Pages, posts, and media become easy to edit and update with a few simple clicks. Let’s dig into the reasons why Webflow makes a great choice for building your website.
Webflow created a web design platform that proves easy to use for anyone, no matter their level of experience in web design. They feature a drag and drop function to let you perfectly position each and every text box, image, and heading that you can dream of. You can customize each of the elements on the Webflow platform with just a click or two, allowing your web page to come to life right in front of you. Notice anything out of place? Simply click and edit any element that you’ve placed or choose to delete the element and start over—an easy fix.
While platforms like WordPress rely on plug-ins to boost your site SEO and more, Webflow uses a clean, lightweight style of code that keeps everything functioning. Plus, without the addition of plug-ins, your site will be more secure from potential threats that can use outdated plug-ins to gain access.
Webflow has bridged the gap between inexperienced web developers and the complex content management systems that many platforms rely on. Instead of needing a background in HTML/CSS or any other coding system, anyone can simply type their content into the page and publish for instant updates. You won’t need any official courses to learn how to publish here.
While Webflow doesn’t require any background in website development or hosting, they’ve decided to offer a complete guide to their platform with their Webflow University. The Webflow University offers 12+ topics, from getting started to e-commerce to elements and design guides. These courses help you better understand the tools they offer and how to make them work to your benefit. The best thing about this—you don’t have to pay a fee to access the Webflow University. Simply register, get familiar with the platform, and learn what you need when you need to learn it. Webflow divided the courses into Beginner and Advanced levels, with a few courses marked as Intermediate level. This allows you to jump into the level of study best suited for your experience with web design, rather than having to reread anything you already know about. This free resource is a fantastic addition to the Webflow platform. Some of the beginner courses include:
Advanced courses dig into topics like:
Don’t let this tool go unused when it has so much to offer everyone, regardless of their experience level. Even if you’ve never heard of CSS until today, Webflow can help you learn everything you need to know.
We’ve been building websites for a while and have worked out a process to help us build to your specifications. Much like any building project, it takes a plan to finish. We’ve developed a step-by-step plan that guides us in bringing our customers the websites of their dreams.
Before anything else in the web design process, we need to know the goals of the website you want for your business. We need to know the endgame that you have in mind to help us guide you through the decisions we will make together as a client and web page developer. We create a sitemap of the website you envision, define the competitors you might face, and speculate on the personas of those that will visit the site. This part of the process helps us understand your audience and what they want from your business. We don’t write a line of code before we know what we’re looking at.
Once everyone agrees with the information architecture, we put together documents for approval and send them to our designers. The website designers will flesh out the appearance and feel of the website. This part of the process isn’t just about making a site look good. Your site design needs to appeal to your audience base, contain easy navigation, and be easy to understand. The website also needs to guide your audience to the various goals of your business, whether they want to learn, subscribe, or purchase merchandise. This step of the process creates the basic design that your audience will see when they explore the site. It won’t have the content added until the next phase of the process.
After the initial design of the website has your approval, we can move on to the content your website will contain. While the last steps focused on creating the barebones of your website, this step fills the bones with the muscle of your site—the content itself. Each page will be customized to your specifications and given plenty of attention to detail to maintain a cohesive and meaningful experience for your website users.
After putting together the design, appearance, and content of your website, we now move forward with the testing and deployment of your website. Remember that looks are not everything when it comes to web pages these days. Web pages need to be flexible enough to see clearly and function on large screens like desktops, medium screens like tablets, and small screens like phones. Our testing process checks each individual page to ensure it responds to the device your customers will use. We also double check our SEO through the site and look for ways to improve the website to ensure it loads fully and quickly for all its users. Once we've finished our testing process, then we focus on launching the page publicly. In addition to this, we also train our clients in how to make the most of the website.
We have a combined total of 40+ years in website design. Our skills in custom designing websites, modifying and creating themes, and learning every tool for each platform give us the experience you can rely on for your new website and its goals for your business. We are well-versed in Webflow design and can maintain a strict level of quality while keeping the development costs affordable thanks to our efficiency and experience. We’ve put in the time to perfect our level of detail and quality that will help you bring your business online effectively.
With the high priority of mobile-first indexes these days, one simply can’t ignore the requirement of responsive web design. Mobile-friendly web design stands as an absolute necessity to maintain the interest of your users. With our extensive experience in building 100% responsive websites with our Webflow designers, we know your site will function perfectly and beautifully no matter what device your customers prefer to view it.
As a Webflow design agency, you can trust us to create the website you need for your business. We will treat your website with the same care and attention that we give our own website. We are a company that cares about you and your needs. Interested in discussing the potential costs of building your Webflow project? We can talk you through our quoting process at 888-831-6095.
