We are seeking a proactive and creative Social Media Manager to oversee and execute social media strategies for a diverse range of clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of platform-specific trends, data analytics, and community engagement. This role requires hands-on experience in content creation, social media strategy, and the ability to manage junior associates and creative collaborations.

This is a remote position where you will be working 38 to 40 hours on weekdays, with very occasional weekend and overtime work.

Where You’ll Fit In: As a Social Media Manager, you will lead the development and execution of social media strategies across platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. You’ll collaborate with clients and internal creative teams to create compelling content while managing budgets, scheduling tools, and analytics. This role involves overseeing junior associates and fostering community growth for clients while staying on top of the latest social media trends.

Essential Duties

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to achieve client goals across platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
  • Manage client communication and satisfaction, ensuring alignment with their objectives.
  • Collaborate with video editors, graphic designers, and creative teams to produce engaging content.
  • Hands-on experience in graphic design and video editing.
    Use social media scheduling tools like SocialPilot to plan and execute campaigns.
  • Create and present detailed reports, leveraging analytics to refine strategies and showcase performance.
  • Manage budgets for social media campaigns and ensure resource efficiency.
  • Monitor and stay ahead of platform trends, ensuring content remains relevant and innovative.
  • Grow client communities by fostering engagement and providing creative solutions.
  • Manage and mentor junior social media associates, ensuring their contributions align with client goals.

Our work weeks typically range between 38 and 40 hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and overtime. We use a timer to track our work hours, which is crucial for client billing, setting pricing, and reviewing job profitability. This process is mandatory at Connective.

Education, Skills, and Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing social media platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
  • Proficiency in scheduling platforms like SocialPilot.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret social media data and create actionable insights.
  • Hands-on experience with video editing and graphic design tools.
  • Track record of growing online communities and creating engaging content.
  • Strong business acumen and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members.
  • Familiarity with paid social media campaigns and budget management.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of platform-specific trends and best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
