We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Copywriter to craft compelling and conversion-focused content for websites, ads, SEO campaigns, and more. The ideal candidate will excel in storytelling, have a strong grasp of SEO best practices, and leverage AI tools as an aid to enhance efficiency while maintaining originality and creativity. This role requires a passion for writing, an eye for detail, and the ability to edit and oversee the work of other writers to ensure consistent quality.
This is a remote position where you will be working 38 to 40 hours on weekdays, with very occasional weekend and overtime work.

Where You’ll Fit In: As a Copywriter, you will work on a wide range of writing projects, from creating SEO-driven content to writing compelling ad copy, website headlines, product descriptions, and editorial guidelines. You’ll collaborate closely with clients and internal teams, including marketing specialists, project managers, and account managers. You will also help manage and edit content from outsourced writers, ensuring all copy aligns with client goals, brand standards, and SEO strategies.
Essential Duties
- Write engaging and conversion-focused content for websites, ads, product descriptions, and more.
- Develop SEO-focused outlines and perform competitive research to create high-performing copy.
- Craft captivating headlines for website mockups, focusing on client goals and target personas.
- Collaborate with clients to understand brand objectives, target audiences, and personas.
- Create and implement editorial guidelines based on client input and branding needs.
- Edit and oversee the work of other writers to maintain high-quality output.
- Stay current on SEO best practices, leveraging AI tools as needed to streamline the writing process without compromising creativity.
- Write ad copy designed to capture attention and drive clicks.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, client objectives, and target audience needs.
- Collaborate with marketing specialists, project managers, account managers, and clients to deliver outstanding results.

Our work weeks typically range between 38 and 40 hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and overtime. We use a timer to track our work hours, which is crucial for client billing, setting pricing, and reviewing job profitability. This process is mandatory at Connective.

Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
- Proven experience in copywriting with a strong portfolio of diverse projects.
- Deep understanding of SEO best practices and competitive research.
- Familiarity with AI tools to enhance efficiency and output.
- Ability to write editorial guidelines and ensure brand consistency.
- Strong editing skills and the ability to oversee outsourced writers.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of systems like StoryBrand and other branding frameworks.
- Experience crafting content for diverse mediums, including websites, ads, and SEO-driven content.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize deadlines.
- Familiarity with content marketing strategies and tools.
