We are seeking an organized and client-focused Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of clients, ensuring their satisfaction and driving business growth. This role involves serving as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing projects, handling inbound sales inquiries, and proactively fostering relationships to achieve strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will combine excellent communication skills with a strong ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively.
This is a remote position where you will be working 38 to 40 hours on weekdays, with very occasional weekend and overtime work.

Where You’ll Fit In: As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing client relationships within your assigned portfolio. This includes acting as the primary point of contact, managing client communications, and ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our services. You’ll work closely with web design and marketing project managers to oversee project execution and occasionally handle smaller projects or edits directly. In addition, you will engage in inbound sales by responding to leads, preparing estimates, and conducting client presentations. Strategic planning, meeting quarterly growth targets, and ensuring accurate billing are integral to the role.
Essential Duties
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, fostering strong, long-term relationships.
- Ensure client satisfaction by proactively addressing needs and monitoring project success.
- Oversee all client activities and interactions, collaborating with project managers across web design, branding, and marketing.
- Handle inbound sales inquiries, including preparing proposals, providing estimates, and delivering presentations.
- Manage smaller projects or edits directly when necessary.
- Meet quarterly growth targets by implementing tailored strategies for client development.
- Provide accurate and timely updates to clients, including project progress and estimates.
- Ensure invoices are accurate and resolve discrepancies in billing or proposals.
- Regularly assess client needs and recommend optimized services to drive business growth.
- Maintain organized systems and processes for managing a portfolio of clients.
- Develop a deep understanding of Connective’s services, including web design, branding, and marketing, to confidently discuss and sell offerings.

Education, Skills, and Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Direct experience in a client-facing role.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience preparing proposals and delivering client presentations.
- Deep familiarity with web design, branding, and marketing services.
- Experience working with project management tools such as Asana or similar platforms.
- Proven track record of meeting growth targets for client accounts.
- Ability to manage smaller projects independently.
- Strong organizational skills for managing a portfolio of clients and associated workflows.
