We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analytics Manager to analyze data and provide actionable insights that help grow our clients’ businesses. The ideal candidate will have expertise in marketing analytics and technology platforms, strong data visualization skills, and the ability to communicate complex data to non-technical stakeholders.

This is a remote position where you will be working 38 to 40 hours on weekdays, with very occasional weekend and overtime work.

Where You’ll Fit In: As a Data Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from various marketing, financial, and CRM systems. Your role will involve creating detailed reports and delivering actionable insights to both our marketing team and clients. You will work with platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and visualization tools like Google Data Studio, Tableau, and Looker to transform complex datasets into clear, meaningful recommendations.

Essential Duties

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from marketing platforms, financial systems, and CRMs.
  • Create detailed and digestible reports for non-technical stakeholders, highlighting actionable insights.
  • Develop and present insights that support decision-making for marketing campaigns and business strategies.
  • Utilize tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager to manage data tracking and reporting.
  • Build and maintain dashboards using visualization tools like Google Data Studio, Tableau, Looker, BigQuery, and Agency Analytics.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize campaigns based on data findings.
  • Integrate and connect various platforms using tools like Zapier.
  • Work directly with clients to explain data insights and guide decision-making.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of marketing and digital media analytics.
  • Ensure accurate data tracking across digital platforms, including websites and marketing tools.

Our work weeks typically range between 38 and 40 hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and overtime. We use a timer to track our work hours, which is crucial for client billing, setting pricing, and reviewing job profitability. This process is mandatory at Connective.

Education, Skills, and Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data analytics within a marketing or digital media environment.
  • Expertise in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and marketing platforms such as Google Ads and Meta Ads.
  • 5+ years experience working in a marketing or web design agency.
    Proficiency in data visualization tools like Google Data Studio, Tableau, Looker, and BigQuery.
  • Strong understanding of connecting and integrating tools using platforms like Zapier.
  • Ability to communicate technical data in a clear and actionable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with WordPress and understanding its integration with analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and CRM data exports.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with marketing teams, clients, and internal managers.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
