Run the 5-second test. Show your homepage to 5 target buyers for 5 seconds, then ask “What does this company do?” If fewer than 4 can articulate your value proposition, positioning is unclear.
Then compare your homepage messaging to top 3 competitors with logos covered. If messaging is interchangeable, differentiation is invisible.
