We are seeking a skilled and experienced Email Marketing Manager to lead our email marketing initiatives for a diverse client base. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing email campaigns using platforms like Mailchimp, ConvertKit, Hubspot, and Zoho. The ideal candidate will have strong content creation skills, expertise in email strategy, and the ability to manage client relationships effectively while driving measurable results.
This is a remote position where you will be working 38 to 40 hours on weekdays, with very occasional weekend and overtime work.

Where You’ll Fit In: As an Email Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for creating and implementing email marketing strategies that resonate with clients’ branding and objectives. You will design and execute email campaigns, manage automation workflows, and deliver tailored strategies across various niches and verticals. This role also involves engaging directly with clients, presenting campaign strategies and results, and crafting content that captures audience attention. Your expertise will ensure high-quality execution of all email marketing efforts.
Essential Duties
- Plan, create, and implement email marketing campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp, ConvertKit, Hubspot, and Zoho.
- Develop strategies for a variety of email types, including newsletters, abandoned cart, customer reengagement, and drip campaigns.
- Design visually appealing and brand-consistent email newsletters.
- Write compelling email content tailored to diverse industries and audiences.
- Set up and optimize marketing automation workflows, including trigger-based campaigns.
- Present email strategies and performance reports to clients, demonstrating campaign results and insights.
- Conduct A/B testing and analyze campaign data to improve performance metrics.
- Stay up-to-date with email marketing trends, tools, and compliance standards.

Our work weeks typically range between 38 and 40 hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and overtime. We use a timer to track our work hours, which is crucial for client billing, setting pricing, and reviewing job profitability. This process is mandatory at Connective.

Education, Skills, and Experience
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a client-facing role.
- Proficiency in email marketing tools like Mailchimp, ConvertKit, Hubspot, or Zoho.
- Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Exceptional written communication and content creation skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing email automation workflows and strategies.
- Familiarity with A/B testing, analytics tools, and email performance tracking.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in diverse verticals, including e-commerce.
- Understanding of email marketing compliance, such as CAN-SPAM and GDPR guidelines.
- Familiarity with Asana or similar collaboration tools.
